How Buying Works
We're a small home business, so there's no online checkout. Nothing is charged on this site. Here's how to get a piece:
- Request to BuyTap "Request to Buy" on anything you love. It goes on your Request List.
- Send your requestAdd your contact info, how you'd like to pay, and pickup or curbside delivery.
- We confirmWe reach out within 24 hours by text, call or email to confirm the piece is yours. Then we mark it Reserved for you.
- Pay & pick upPay with cash, Venmo or Apple Pay at pickup or drop-off, in person or no contact.
Sending a request doesn't commit you to buy, and pieces aren't reserved until we confirm with you.

What Goes Into Every Piece
We don't just slap on a coat of paint. Every item gets the time it needs.
Curate
We hand-pick solid, well-built pieces with good bones and real character.
Clean & Repair
Deep cleaning, tightening joints, fixing drawers, filling dings and scratches.
Refinish
Sanding, then fresh paint, stain, varnish or polish, depending on what the piece calls for.
Finishing Touches
New knobs, pulls and handles, plus a protective topcoat so it lasts for years.
Pickup & Delivery
We work from our home, so there's no storefront. Here's how getting your piece works.
Local Pickup Free
- After you send your request, we'll contact you to schedule a pickup time.
- We share our pickup address once your order is confirmed.
- Please bring a vehicle large enough for your piece, plus help if it's heavy.
- We're glad to help load, but please plan for bringing straps or blankets.
- Pay with cash, Venmo or Apple Pay when you pick up, or before a no-contact pickup.
- Items are held for 7 days after we confirm your request unless we arrange otherwise.
Curbside Delivery $40
- Available within 10 miles of our location.
- No ferry crossings. Addresses that need a ferry aren't eligible.
- Delivery is to the driveway or curb only.
- Pay with cash, Venmo or Apple Pay at drop-off, or before a no-contact drop-off.
- We can't carry items up stairs, into the home, or up long drives or hills on the property.
- Someone 18+ needs to be present at drop-off.
- We'll confirm your address is eligible before scheduling. If it isn't, we'll let you know and you can pick up instead.

What started as a weekend hobby, rescuing a tired old dresser from a yard sale, has turned into a full-blown love of giving good furniture a second chapter.
Everything here is done by hand at our home, one piece at a time. We'd rather keep a sturdy, well-made piece out of the landfill than buy something flat-packed, and we think you'll feel the difference.

Why can't I check out online?
We're a small home business, so instead of an online checkout you send a request. Sending one doesn't commit you to buy, and nothing is charged online. We confirm availability with you, then mark the piece Reserved. We'll reach out, then you pay with cash, Venmo or Apple Pay when you pick up or when we drop it off. See How Buying Works.
How do I pay?
We take cash, Venmo or Apple Pay. Pay in person at pickup or drop-off, or before a no-contact pickup and we'll arrange the details with you.
Can I see a piece in person before buying?
Yes. Send us a message and we'll set up a time to view it. Pieces aren't held until they're paid for.
Do you take custom requests?
Sometimes! If you have a piece you'd like refinished, or a color you love, get in touch and we'll let you know if we can take it on.
What's your return policy?
Every piece is one of a kind and sold as-is, so all sales are final. We describe and photograph every flaw we know about. If something isn't as described, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
How should I care for a painted or refinished piece?
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Use coasters for drinks and give the finish about 2 to 3 weeks to fully cure before heavy use.
